Breathe new life into your well-loved garments during a cozy, guided morning of community mending.
This Sunday Session is designed for anyone looking to slow down, connect with others, and learn the tactile art of clothing repair. Led by textile artist and art therapist Sarah Peacock alongside textile artist Rhynn Winstead, this workshop offers a welcoming space to master basic mending techniques with hands-on support. Whether you are patching a favorite pair of jeans, darning a cherished sweater, or simply want to learn how to keep your textiles in rotation, you will find the tools, guidance, and community you need.
The Schedule: November 8th | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Who It's For: Anyone and everyone. No previous sewing or mending experience is necessary to join the table.
What to Bring: Bring along the clothing items that are ready to be lovingly repaired. You are also welcome to bring any specialty items or your own materials if you have a specific vision in mind.
What’s Included: We provide all the basic mending supplies, tools, and expert instruction to get your repairs started.
Registration: $20 suggested contribution to support the hosts and the workshop space.
