About Us
The Curious Goose is a community workshop in Downtown Dartmouth, offering woodworking and design classes, as well as other fun experiences for kids and adults. Our goal is to build community through a culture of hands-on creativity — bringing meaningful ideas to life, and stepping into our power to shape the environment around us.
We're inspired by curiosity, a love of beauty, and the joy of creating.
Our story
Hi! Dallas and Talis here. We are two members of a big family, teaming up to launch the Curious Goose! For years, our families have shared spaces, adventures, and dreams of creating an educational and experiential community space, and we are thrilled to finally bring it to life!
The Curious Goose combines Dallas’ woodworking and design skills with Talis’ background in community building and youth education. We share a passion for learning through a mindfulness lens, which helps us all develop the essential skills needed to create beautiful things: presence, discipline, attention to detail, and, of course, curiosity!

Dallas has over 10 years of experience in woodworking, custom furniture building, manufacturing, UX design, and operations in tech startups.
