For Kids & Teens

Curious Goose workshops teach woodworking and other crafting skills through a lens of mindfulness and curiosity. Our goal is to help students develop the necessary skills to create useful and beautiful things independently. Patience, presence, and maintaining an open mind are just the beginning.

Sign your student up for weekly classes, join us for open workshops, or host their birthday party at the Curious Goose!

The Curious Goose Youth Summer Makers Series

Are you looking for a way to get your kids off the screen and working with their hands this summer? We are thrilled to announce our Youth Summer Maker Series at the Curious Goose Community Workshop!

Our workshop doors are open every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-5 pm. Join us for the full week or pick the days that fit your schedule! $50 per day or sign up for the 3-days of the week for $150 and get a free t-shirt or apron!

Tuesdays: Leatherworking – Learn the art of stamping, riveting, and finishing small custom leather projects.
Wednesdays: Carving – Focus on patience and precision as we transform raw wood into unique shapes,
Thursdays: Woodworking Kits – The big build day! Kids will assemble and take home custom woodworking projects.

This series is designed for makers ages 10 and up. Kids ages 6-9 can join with an adult helper.

We host birthday parties on Saturdays from 1-3 pm. The cost is $250 for up to 10 kids, plus $15 per additional participant.

Kids will build a project from a kit that takes about 1:15 hours to complete and play with. So the cost includes materials, exclusive access to our space and class facilitation.

Then there is time for cake, snacks or food you'd like to bring.
